MTV releases VMA Nominees’ List
Music Television, MTV has announced the 2014 Video Music Awards nominees via Snapchat on Thursday.
The nominationss appeared in eight 10-second videos, and featured appearances from MTV stars like Becky G and Austin Mahone.
The network continues its major social network tradition as last year, the VMA nominees were announced via Instagram and Vine
Beyonce leads the pack with 8 nods while Eminem and Australia-born rapper, Iggy Azalea, follow with seven each.
The awards will air on Sunday, Aug. 24. The list of nominees is below:
