Pastor flee After Raping And Impregnating Senior Pastor’s Daughter

A pastor in Ekiti state has taken to his heels after allegedly raping and impregnating his senior pastor’s daughter. The Pastor (name withheld) aged 29years according to relative of the victim ran away to establish his own church in Ikoyi area of Ikere-Ekiti.
The girl (the victim), simply referred to as Oluwadamilola an SS1 student of a high school in Ikere-Ekiti, gave birth to a baby boy in May 2013. The pastor was arrested over the rape was charged to court. His trial was initially with Ekiti State Magistrate Court but was later transferred to the state High Court where he was granted bail in July after being remanded in detention for about three months due to his inability to meet his initial bail conditions.
The pastor reportedly jumped bail and ran to another area of the state to start his new church, which according to Damilola’s relative who pleaded anonymity has attracted a lot of people. A lot of people from the church he pulled out after the allege rape incident are also reported to have joined him in his new ministry.
The young Pastor according to NigerianEcho investigation had a written agreement with Damilola’s parents that he would take care of the girl and her pregnancy. His attitude after the agreement reportedly angered the girl’s parent who then reported the case to the police.
NigerianEcho learnt that the pastor attitude angered resident of the area especially for organizing revival programmes and crusade, calling members of the public who were not aware of his atrocities to come for miracles. Aside that he was reported to have organized a thanksgiving service in his church when his lawyer advised him to transfer the case from the Magistrate Court to High Court his bail was granted
A relative who wouldn’t want his name mentioned said that Damilola was allegedly raped in July last year when the youth of the church were having a special programme at night, but the parent did not know the girl was pregnant until January this year, while he (the pastor) had hurriedly left in September 2012.
