Ogun 2027: Group Commends Tinubu, Abiodun, Osoba, Daniel, Amosun for Picking Yayi Adeola As The Consensus Candidate
A socio-political group,The Ogun West for Yayi Political Action Movement (OWYPAM) has expressed gratitude on the adoption of Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ogun State for the forthcoming general elections.
OWYPAM said the decision reflects careful consultation, broad agreement, and a shared commitment to the progress of Ogun State and the continued strength of the APC. In a release signed by the Convener, Sunday Odunaro and Co-Convener, Isiaq Dimeji Oladele, the group said the adoption of Yayi demonstrates the maturity of the party’s leadership and its capacity to act with unity, responsibility, and clarity of purpose.
The group expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his steady leadership and for fostering a political climate that promotes cohesion, discipline, and strategic direction within the party. The group also expresses appreciation to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the role played by him.
A special tribute was paid to Aremo Akinrogun Olusegun Osoba, Senators Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun, former Governors of Ogun State for their exceptional role in bringing stakeholders together and ensuring a credible outcome.
The group also acknowledged the State Party Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, who presided over the State Caucus meeting where this important decision was reached.
