Coolio is Dead
There is no certainty yet about the cause of death, perhaps Artis Leon Ivey Jr. (Coolio) died after suffering a heart attack. Coolio, who scored hits in the 1990s with Gangsta’s Paradise and C U When U Get There, was visiting a friend when he passed away.
‘Paradise’ became his signature hit, Coolio had several others … including 1994’s “Fantastic Voyage” — which hit #3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 — as well as “1,2,3,4 (Sumpin’ New)” and “It’s All the Way Live (Now).”
He was 59 when he passed.
