Woman arrested with dead boy without eyes, tongue

A woman, behaving like a mentally retarded person was on Sunday arrested at Mile 2 area of Apapa, Lagos State with a dead boy whose eyes and tongue had been removed.
Eyewitness claimed that the woman was arrested at about 3:04pm on top of the Mile 2 Bridge, inward Apapa-Wharf route by a team of Operation Mesa (OPMESA) operatives after a passer-bye raised the alarm.
At the time of her arrest she was said to be in possession of two Ghana-must-go bags on the point of her arrest.
One of the bags contained rags, while the other contained the dead body of a there year-old boy with out eyes and tongue.
The child had on him a short and a polo shirt, while the woman was said to be putting on skirt and blouse stained with dried blood.
On questioning by OPMESA operatives, the woman was said to have claimed that the dead boy was her son but when asked to explain the missing eyes and tongue she could not.
Lagos State Police Command Deputy spokesperson, Lelma Kollen, said they just received the information about the incident and he was still trying to track the police station handling the matter so as to get the true picture and fact of what happened.
