Stephen Keshi has removed Stoke City’s Victor Moses from the squad called up for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Sudan, replacing him with Dolphins FC winger Emem Eduok.

Moses was removed due to fears that he has aggravated a thigh injury and his impending absence is due to cause Keshi some worries as he admitted that he was looking forward to Moses continuing the good form he has displayed since joining Stoke City on loan from Chelsea.

The Super Eagles still remaining on the squad list are expected to start arriving Abuja from Monday to begin preparations for the matches scheduled for this weekend in Omdurman and next Wednesday in Abuja. The team’s technical crew are reportedly in Abuja already, awaiting the arrival of players.

No official deadline date has been announced yet, but it is not expected to exceed Tuesday, as the team will be travelling to Sudan on Thursday October 9 for game.
