President Goodluck Jonathan to Address UN General Assembly regarding Africa’s Security and Terrorism Issues

president_goodluck_jonathan_1__283791306.jpgPresident Goodluck Jonathan is set to participate in the 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Dr Reuben Abati revealed this via a press statement, also stating that Jonathan, who left Abuja on Sunday morning, will stop over in London for a brief private visit before heading to New York to attend receptions hosted by United States President, Barack Obama and Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki Moon.

Jonathan is expected to present Nigeria’s statement to the General Assembly, address the United Nations Security Council high-level session on threats to international peace and security caused by terrorist acts.

Jonathan is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Mr. Ban Ki Moon and the British Prime Minister, Mr. David Cameron.
