Military declares technician aboard crashed chopper missing in action

 Defence Headquarters on Wednesday declared as missing in action a technician aboard the crashed helicopter of the Nigeria Air Force in Borno State, which crashed on Monday.
 
Only one of the co-pilots on board the chopper survived out of the three-man team.
But while the body of the dead co-pilot had been recovered from the crash site, that of the technician was yet to be located as at Wednesday morning.
A statement by the Director of Defence Information, Major-General Chris Olukolade, said the technician, whose name was not released, has been declared missing in action.
Olukolade said in the statement: “Only one body has so far been recovered from the site of the crashed Air Force Helicopter. The body of the technician who is the third member of the crew is yet to be located. He is therefore declared Missing in Action until found.
