Laouchez set to spin the Nigeria Entertainment Industry around

Ever wondered who the brain behind Entertainment Company TRACE is?  A platform that has projected most of our A-list music stars into global light, the answer is not far fetched- he is Olivier Laouchez.

The Matunuck, Caribbean-born Chairman/CEO of Trace Group and co-founder of TRACE, Olivier Laouchez have with much success run the TRACE brand over the years. The Trace Group consists of  TRACE URBAN ; a leader in volume of audience in the world of paid music channels which is currently in more than 50 countries including France, several African countries, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean , TRACE Olivier LaouchezTROPICAL ;  the Chain of tropical music, TRACE AFRICA ; the Chain of African music, TRACE SPORTS, a Chain of sports celebrities, TRACE FM which is currently operated with Hersant Media Group in the Caribbean and so on.

His entrepreneurial mindset and unrelenting efforts made him acquire a small music channel and TRACE, an existing brand, which at the time was TRACE Magazine paid off today as he has turned it into a global brand ; serving millions of people world wide while still being a huge employer of labour ; putting smile on the faces of several people. This greatly explains his frequent traveling around the world.

In a bid to break boundaries and reaching a wider range of Entertainment audience and relevant stake holders, Olivier Laouchez despite his busy schedule visited Nigeria recently, also bearing it in mind that Nigeria stands as a goldmine for entertainment in Africa.

He was warmly received by his host, Entertainment Management Company (EMC), exclusive representatives of Trace Urban, Trace Sports and FAB Media in Nigeria and Anglophone West Africa. They were not slack in letting him in on the more lucrative investment opportunities in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry.

The TRACE CEO is out to enlarge his brand reach and presence in Nigeria. Sequel to this, the brand is already discussing with mobile phone operators in Nigeria to launch Trace Mobile which will be a value-added mobile proposition for young people.

Amongst other ground-breaking products targeted at young people include My TRACE, a personalized music channel that will run on all devices, smart phones, tablet, PC and smart TVs. Also is the Trace Mobile Song Contest which will feature a panel of judges evaluate the various uploads done by youth. Contestants comprising majorly of young people are expected to call an IVI telephone line where they can record their songs, play it back to listen if correction is needed and enter it for the contest.

The best entries will benefit from TV promotions and profiling while the winner after the grand finale comprising of the best 10 entries will walk home with a contract with Universal Music, cash money and will perform at the TRACE Urban Music award to come in December 2013. October this year has being slated for the launch of the contest in Nigeria.
