Jonathan sends NDDC’s N322.6bn budget to Senate

President Goodluck Jonathan has presented the 2014 budget of the Niger Delta Development Commission to the Senate for consideration.

In a letter written to the Senate President David Mark, President Jonathan put the commission’s budget for fiscal 2014 at N322.6billion.

The letter made it known that the figure was over 2.1 percent above the N315.85billion the commission presented last year as its budget.

According to the President letter, the budget was made up of personal expenditure of N15.87billion and a recurrent expenditure of N10.186billion.

The capital expenditure, it stated will gulp N2.28bn while project development expenditure is N295.5billion.
