Jonathan nominates Adeyeye, Sekarau, others as Ministers

President Goodluck Jonathan has nominated former Governor of Kano State, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau; Prince Adedayo Adeyeye (Ekiti); Abdul Bulama (Yobe); and Dr. Stephen Orlu (Delta) as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This information was contained in a letter addressed to Senate President, Senator David Mark, which was read on the floor of the Senate.
President as required by the law in the letter, sought for the confirmation of the ministerial nominees by the Senate.
In the letter which reads: “In accordance with Section 147 subsection 2 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, as amended, I have the honour to forward the under listed for consideration for Senate confirmation,” no nominees from Kwara and Anambra States in the names sent to the Senate
