Jigawa Governor’s Son arrested by EFCC With $ 400,000
Aminu Lamido, one of the sons of Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido was in the early hours of today, Wednesday arrested at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission, EFCC as he was about boarding an Egpty airline to Cairo.
NigerianEcho gathered that, Aminu who had early declared cash totaling about $10,000 to agents of the Nigeria customs was found to be in possession of about $ 400,000 when he was apprehended by the EFCC after being flashed.
When contacted, EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren confirmed the arrest and disclosed that Aminu would be charged to court as soon as all the necessary paper work has been done.
