Former NANS President to Contest against David Mark for Senatorial Seat

Former President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Daniel Onjeh has declared his intention to run for the Senatorial seat of the Benue South District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Onjeh plans to contest against Senate President, David Mark, who according to reports, is being urged by the people of Benue Zone C senatorial district to vacate the seat as he has represented the zone for 16 years.

Onjeh, who obtained the intent expression form over the weekend, accompanied by student activists groups and APC leaders in the state including former House of Representatives member, Mr. Nelson Alapa, said he was sure of victory.‎

The former president of West African Students Union (WASU) said he is vying for power as he thinks he has to right resources to tackle the socio-political and economic challenges facing the people in the area.
