The Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, has expressed confidence that Ogun State will witness greater development under the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI.

The monarch gave the endorsement on Saturday during a grand homecoming reception organised in honour of the senator by the people of Kemta-Odutolu Kingdom in Egbaland.

Oba Gbadebo offered prayers and royal blessings for Adeola, and charged him to remain committed to delivering critical infrastructure and social amenities that will benefit residents across the state.

Responding, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola thanked the Alake, the traditional institution and the people of Kemta-Odutolu for the warm reception, describing the event as a symbolic homecoming to reconnect with his maternal roots in Egbaland, and not a political campaign.

The Ogun West senator reaffirmed his commitment to accelerating infrastructural development across the state, announcing that the Saraki-Adigbe and Magbon-INEC roads would soon be asphalted.

Adeola said several interventions had been completed across Ogun, with more than 16 roads and over 15 schools currently under construction, alongside projects in healthcare facilities and markets.

He assured the people of Kemta and Egbaland that the overwhelming support would inspire greater service, pledging to sustain developmental projects, consolidate on the achievements of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration, and ensure purposeful and inclusive governance in every part of the state.
