Manchester United and Chelsea have been the most talked about in this summer Transfer window and for a reason. The two English Giants finished on a very good level last season, with Chelsea winning the Uefa Champions League and Manchester United finishing on a strong second position in the league and runners up of the Uefa Europa League Finals.

Both teams have been linked with several and sometimes the same player, like Atletico’s Saul Niguez and Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, although United have opted out of the race for Kounde after sealing a deal to sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.

Apart from signing new players, Both teams have also looked to trim their squad to accommodate the new signings. Sometimes it may not be a sale, but a contract renewal or a promotion. The two English Giants Confirmed a deal each of this kind yesterday.

Manchester United have confirmed that former academy player Max Taylor has joined Rochdale on an initial one-year deal. The 21-year-old defender left Manchester United earlier this summer to pursue a new opportunity

Chelsea Confirms Departure of Academy Defender

Chelsea yesterday confirmed the permanent move of Academy Defender Tino Livramento to fellow Premier League side Southampton. He was part of Chelsea’s Academy, signing for the blues as an under-9 and growing to become one of the best right-backs in Chelsea’s Academy.

In the 2019/20 Season, Livramento played a key part in Chelsea’s run to the FA Youth Cup final as he started every game, while also featuring on seven occasions for Andy Myers’s title-winning development squad and winning the Academy Player of the year award.
