In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Senate President, Mr . Paul Mumeh, Mark and  Entwistle, lamented the countless number of lives and property already lost on account of terrorism by the dreaded sect and discussed how the two nations could strengthen action against terrorists activities in the country.

The duo according to the statement lamented about the economic and socio-political lives of the nation that had been on the low ebb, since the dreaded sect launched its destructive actions on the country.

The statement quoted Senate President Mark to have said “Boko  Haram is not only a threat to Nigeria but poses a great danger to human existence.

“The threat is much closer than was ever imagined because the extremists have wider networks  and support outside Nigeria.”

Mark, in the statement while soliciting for more support and assistance from the international community to end the terrorists activities noted that the nation’s security operatives were doing their utmost best to bring the situation  under control.
