Zidane Set to be Banned from Coaching
Zinedine Zidane may be banned from coaching by the Spanish National Coaching Association for doing the job while lacking the right qualifications.
The former French international, who is currently in charge of the club’s reserve team, Real Madrid Castilla, was reported by the coaching association Cenafe at the start of the season for not being qualified for the job and could be banned for one and six months.
President of Cenafe, Miguel Galan said: “Real Madrid is one of the most recognisable sporting institutions in the world and a symbol of this sport but they have to follow the same rules as everyone else otherwise the competition is not fair.”
Real Madrid, however claim that Zidane is only acting as an assistant to Sergio Sanchez, who is in fact the head coach.
