Youth Group Hails Ooni’s Media Aide
Comrade Moses Olafare, the Director of Media & Public Affairs to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has been commended by members of the Confederation Of Nigerian Youths (CONY) for his sagacious and innovative management of the foremost monarch’s publicity and media relations since December 2016 when the 51st Ooni of Ife was coronated.
In a statement made available by the group National Protocol /Media Director, Mr. Yusuff Afolabi after a zonal meeting held recently at South
West Zonal Office in Ibadan also Saluted Comrade Olafare for his immense contribution towards the growth of Youths wing in making sure future is guarantee for the Youths through his input to the youth driven agenda of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife.
“The kind of royal publicity coming from the palace of Ooni is innovative and equal to none, the guy in charge of such an effort deserves commendations especially from the youths because Comrade Olafare is not only managing the media and press for Kabiyesi, he is seen to be helpful to the youths coming to the king with meaningful programmes”. Afolabi stated.
He further stated that Comrade Olafare has not only proven to the world as an outstanding media relations expert but also a very hardworking journalist having cut his teeth during his Vanguard newspaper days in the late 90s and early 2000s.
Confederation of Nigerian Youth however urged the Ooni’s media aide to continue in his good work as a true ambassador of Nigerian Youth.
While adding his voice during the Prince Tope Eluyefa who is a chieftain of the group a prince of Ife attributed the achievements recorded by Olafare to his love for Ife, passion for the job, his professional understanding of Media Relations and his experience as a grassroot activist a leading Oodua self-determination agitator.
Eluyefa saluted the charisma, candour and a very smooth working relationship he has with Nigerian media which has given his principal, Ooni of Ife and the city, Ile Ife more prominence all over the world than any monarch or town in Africa.
“I salute Comrade Moses Olafare for his standard and fantastic way of leadership among the Youths and the way he has been working especially with the prominence of Olojo festival enjoyed which has never happened in the history of the festival in Ifeland and we therefore salute our father His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife for choosing a competent hand to handle his media and public affairs department having realised how important and sensitive the job is”. Prince Eluyefa said.
The group however wish Ooni of Ife more successful years on earth, reign as the paramount head of Oba in Yorubaland and black nation all over the world.
