World Economic Forum : Security Beefed Up In Abuja Satellite Towns

Police authority in Nigeria mindful of insurgent activities and in an effort to make World Economic Forum which kicks off tomorrow in Abuja free of any security breach, has deployed undercover operatives to all satellite towns within and outside the federal capital and Abuja International Airport.

Police situation report revealed that detectives from Force Intelligence Bureau, Force Criminal Investigations Department and men of the counter terrorist unit are now keeping vigil in satellite towns like Dutse, Mararaba, Nyanya (two-time bombed park), Gwagwalada, Abaji, Kubwa, Dei-Dei, Suleja, Karmo, Zuba and Dutse.

Force headquarters it was learnt has also ordered increased vehicular patrols, commencement of operation stop and search with full support from air wing of the force for aerial surveillance.

All roads that link Abuja from other states are under tight security watch. Abuja international Airport is being cordoned off by eagle-eye security operatives from SSS, DMI, DIA and NIA.
