Work Starts Soon On Ilaro-Owode Road -AKINLADE

Hon Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade has disclosed that the reconstruction of Ilaro-Owode road is already approved by the Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, saying, “work shall commence as soon as the rain subsided.”

Akinlade who is representing Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency at the National Assembly disclosed this to OGSIEC accredited Ogun West Publishers/Journalists Media Election Monitoring team that were in Ipokia LG during the just-concluded local government & LCDA in the area.

Triple A as he is fondly called revealed that he has had a favourable discussion with Mr. Fashola on the 24 kilometer road which according to him was supported by Gov. Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State.

“Kindly permit this opportunity to use your medium to inform the good people of Yewa-Awori area of Ogun state that discussion with the Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola on some deplorable roads in Ogun West, most especially Ilaro-Owode road has been concluded as Fashola has approved the urgent repair of the road he described as one of the “economic paths” to Nigeria,” Hon Akinlade posited.

He further disclosed the role Gov Amosun played in securing the approval, adding that “the pains and stress suffered by my people shall soon be a thing of the past.”

Akinlade urged the people of the area to always understand the present administration over the ongoing recession in the country, adding, “better days are coming”.

In his comment on the election Akinlade said that he was happy that the people are now conscious of the fact that they hold the power to elect who represent them at any level of the political space.

He however urged them to judiciously use the power to elect responsive leaders and that they should not allowed themselves to be influenced with material things of live.

In an interview with StarTrend Int’l magazine Triple A congratulates those who won at the just-concluded local government elections in the area and advice them to strive towards delivering dividends of democracy to the people who voted them in.
