Wike appoints Justice Daisy Okocha as Chief Judge, reinstates lecturers sacked by Amaechi
Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, who was sworn in earlier today has announced the appointment of Justice Daisy Okocha as the Chief Judge of the state.
He made the appointment in his inaugural speech immediately after being sworn-in by the Chief Judge of Bayelsa state, Justice Kate Abiri.
Wike also directed that all the state owned courts which had been under lock be opened with immediate effect, while also announcing
the reinstatement of some Lecturers of the Rivers state University of Science and Technology who were sacked by ex-governor Rotimi Amaechi-led administration.
