We will cage Messi – Kenneth Omeruo

The young lad who has seen progression since starring for Nigeria Golden Eaglet at the Nigeria 2009, Colombia 2011 and South Africa 2013 is a player of the Premiership team, Chelsea football club, Kenneth Omeruo. NigerianEcho had a chance meeting with him at the Super Eagles camp in Campinas, Brazil. Excerpts:
NE: how are you Ken?
Omeruo: I’m fine Sir, thanks.
NE: congratulations on your new contract with Chelsea.
Omeruo: thanks bros, na God ooo.
NE: so how has it been so far in the camp?
Omeruo: it’s been nice. So far so good. The atmosphere has been nice under our father Stephen Keshi. He advise us and always talk to us on specific things he want from us on the field.
NE: how is Yobo relating with you?
Omeruo: he has been very helpful. He always gives me advice , and I have learnt a lot from him as the captain and veteran in that position, infact we maintain very good communication on the field he tells me where he wants me to cover. I’m learning from him.
NE: match against Argentina?
Omeruo: bros never mind, we will cage Messi. The whole team is looking forward to that match.
