War against crime: Ogun police arrest 4 armed robbers during operation in Sagamu

Ogun State Police command, in its efforts to get rid of crimes and criminality in the State, has arrested some suspected armed robbers along Odelemo Road, Sagamu.
According to the state police command PPRO, DSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, police Detectives attached to Sagamu Division of the command led by the Divisional Police officer, while responding to a distress call that a gang of armed robbers was robbing on Mr Lukman Yusuf along Odelemo road sagamu, around 1400hrs, caught the robbers in the act and arrested two of the suspects, namely: DAVID OGUNJINRIN and MOHAMMED IBRAHIM.
The robbers, he said had already attacked the victim and snatched his Bajaj motorcycle with Reg No. OGUN DGB 652 WZ, his mobile phones and some amount of money before the police detectives arrived at the scene.
The arrest of the two suspects, led the police to their hideout in Onoajegbe Village in IPERU Ogun state where additional two members of the gang were arrested.
They are, ADEBAYO SEGUN, M, and MUDA YAHAYA.
PPRO stated all the suspected armed robbers are from Lagos State and have confessed to various crimes.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Department of Finance and Administration, DCP Celestine Okoye, who spoke on behalf of the State Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali, commended the Divisional Police officer and his men for the good job and directed that the case be transferred to the Special Anti Robbery Squad, Elewe-Eran, Abeokuta for further Investigation.
DCP Celestine Okoye also assured the good people of Ogun state of adequate protection of lives and property, and vowed to relegate any hoodlums or criminals who may want to disturb the existing peace in Ogun state.
