Wanted man arrested on another Robbery Mission
A man suspected to be a notorious armed robber terrorizing Karmo, Gwagwalada and Dakwa areas of Abuja has been arrested by the Nigerian Police. .
On his arrest, locally made pistols, one cartridge, daggers and charms were found in his possession. He confessed that he was going to meet his gang members so as to carryout robbery activities at Gwagwalada that night. He also told us that all the major robberies in Dakwa village were done by them.
The suspect (name withheld for security reasons) has been on the command’s wanted list. He was arrested at Idu Primary School with three locally made pistols, a cartridge and other dangerous weapons by policemen attached to the Karmo police division.
NigerianEcho’s sources said the suspect was apprehended by policemen who were on foot patrol in Idu-Karmo area. He was arrested when he attempted to run with a bag on sighting policemen.
He confessed to the police that he has been part of the armed robbery gang that has been terrorizing the area after he arrested with concerted effort of members of a vigilante group
