UCL Play-offs: Porto, Zenit St. Petersburg Qualify as Celtic loses out
Celtic have lost a place in the UEFA Champions League group stages after losing 2-1 aggregate to Slovenian champions, Maribor.
The Glasgow giants had a second chance to reach the first-round of the Champions League after Legia Warsaw were punished for fielding an ineligible player in the third round of qualifying.
Zenit St. Petersburg however became the first team to qualify for the UCL group stages through play-offs after a 4-0 aggregate win over Standard Liege at the Petrovsky Stadium.
Goals from Yacine Brahimi and Jackson Martinez also helped Porto qualify for the group stages. The Portuguese club dominated Lille at the Estadio do Dragao, following their narrow first-leg victory.
