Troops Capture Boko Haram Commander
The offensive, according to the statement also resulted in the rescue of 178 people held captive by the terrorists, including 101 children, 67 women and 10 men.
Colonel Usman said the troops, consolidating on their success under operation lafiya dole, had successfully cleared the terrorists’ camps in fadan, shuwarin, wulari, ngoro dauye, jidori and several other locations.
Also, three Boko Haram flags were recovered while five motor cycles were burnt by the troops. In addition, one Boko Haram Terrorists Commander was captured alive and is presently undergoing investigation.
