Toni Kroos set to Join Real Madrid

German midfielder, Toni Kroos has confirmed after Sunday’s World cup win, that he is set to join European champions Real Madrid.The Bayern Munich player enjoyed an excellent campaign in Brazil, playing a starring role in Germany’s World Cup win which culminated in a 1-0 extra-time victory over Argentina.
Kroos, who finished the tournament with four assists, the highest of the tournament, confirmed after the final in the Maracana that he would indeed be leaving Bayern Munich for Real Madrid.
The spanish club had been linked with Kroos weeks ago, but at that time, he refused to comment as he was concentrating on the tournament.
Kroos has now revealed that he will be heading to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
“We’ve finished the World Cup in the best way possible. Now I’m going to Madrid, so that’s two dreams achieved,” Kroos said.
