Tinubu says INEC is Not Ready for 2015 General Elections after PVC Distribution Flop
Former governor of Lagos state, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has tagged the distribution of Permanent Voters Card (PVC) by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state as “a colossal failure”.
The National leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) said that the exercise showed that INEC could collaborate with the Presidency and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to rig next year elections.
He said: “This is deliberate as far as I am concerned and as our party is concerned. Adding one day to the exercise is not the issue. INEC should publish the name of those who have double registered. It can’t take the name of those involve from the register. It is a court that can do that. INEC must account for about two million voters on the register.”
