Tambuwal vows to keep Smooth Rapport with Sokoto state Lawmakers
Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State has vowed to work amicably with the members of the state House of Assembly so as to ensure sustainable development of the state.
Tambuwal said this in Sokoto on Friday during the launch of a 3-day post inaugural workshop organised for new lawmakers in the state by the state government in conjunction with USAID-sponsored non-governmental organisation, Leadership, Empowerment, Advocacy and Development (LEAD).
He said: “Government is about collective responsibility by all the tiers of government and other stakeholders for the best interest of the people.
“We must, therefore, muster the courage and commit ourselves to the selfless service of the people to provide the needed social services to the people.”
He also commended LEAD for its involvement in building of a formidable governance in the state.
