Suicide bomber blows herself up in Kano
A young female bomber Monday night blew herself up near a mosque on Monday night in Kano.
Kano Police Command spokesperson, Magaji Majiya who confirmed the incident said the girl’s target was likely the Umar Ibn Al-Khattab mosque and that she was the only casualty.
The attempted attack was similar to those carried out by Boko Haram suicide bombers.
On Sunday, 44 people died in two attacks targeted at Muslim faithfuls in Jos. Earlier, the terrorist had attacked Christian worshippers at Redeemed Christians Church of God in Yobe killing no fewer than six people.
