Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) on Wednesday announced it had released the results of the placement test into the Junior Secondary School 1 in the state.

This was disclosed by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Mrs Olawunmi Okoh, in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)

NAN reports that no fewer than 150, 000 primary six pupils from public and private schools sat for the examination.

Okoh advised head teachers of public primary schools to check their schools’ results at their Local Education Authority.

She also advised the proprietors of approved private schools to check their results at the Lagos State Examination Board, Iyana Ipaja.

The spokesperson urged parents and guardians to check results of their wards at their various schools.

Okoh said, however, that the recent information on recruitment and submission of application forms for employment in public primary schools in the state was a scam.

She urged the general public to disregard the information or contact the board’s office at Maryland, Lagos.
