SSS 3 student dies misteriously after Examination

What would have caused the sudden death of a final year student of Anglican Grammar School, Ilaro, the headquarters of Yewa South Local Government area of Ogun State, is a question begging for answer in the ancient town.

Our correspondent gathered that, the late student, Femi Akintola was reported dead by his parent last Friday evening.

The cause of the sudden death still unknown to both the parents.

A reliable source close to the parents revealed that, “Femi was preparing for his next NECO paper and suddenly the illness struck him which the parents suspected to be a spiritual illness because he shouted and collapsed thereafter ”

Another source also disclosed that, Femi after he shouted and collapsed started vomiting blood and he was rushed to Ore-Ofe hospital from where the doctor referred him to Lantoro hospital in Abeokuta

After some minutes, according to the source , his urine was filled with blood and he fainted again.

According to one of the non-teaching staffs of the deceased school, who did not want his name in print, the sickness is related to what the Yoruba people called APETA (spiritual arrow) which eventually took the life of the boy.

It was mourning session yesterday when the news of his death was got to the school authority. “This boy death is spiritually inclined” said one of the teachers in the school, who also described the boy as promising.
