The man suspected of a killing a 32-year-old Oneida mother is facing charges in Syracuse related to carjacking Tuesday morning, according to a law enforcement source close to the investigation, TWC News has reported.
Kevin Farley, 32, was arrested in Syracuse after he stole a woman’s car at knifepoint and led authorities on a chase before crashing, according to police.
Tiffany Weeks, 32, was found strangled in her North Lake Street home in Oneida Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
People in the community who knew Meeks say they’re still in shock.
“She was very quiet, didn’t even know she was home half the time,” said Kym Snyder. “Why anyone would do this to her?”
Police said they expect to file charges related to the homicide once their investigation is complete.
