Six killed as explosions rock Damaturu

At least six persons have been killed and 12 others injured as twin explosions rock Damaturu, Yobe State capital, reports Channels TV.

According to the report the first blast occurred at the Central Motor Park while the second one was set off along the Gashua-Maiduguri bypass.

The National Emergency Management Agency said those injured have been taken to the Damaturu Specialist Hospital for treatment.
