Former Super Eagles Coach, Samson Siasia, has congratulated the Super Eagles for qualifying for the Brazil 2014 World Cup after the Eagles’ 2-0 win over the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar.Samson Siasia

Siasia however insisted that the Eagles need to put in more effort to prepare for the World Cup itself and said that the technical crew of the Eagles should have noticed the areas they needed to work on ahead of next year’s tournament.

“I feel very happy that the Eagles have qualified for the World Cup again,” Siasia said. “While I am happy with qualification, I think the team still has more work to do so they can improve before Brazil 2014 starts. I know the coaches know what to do but let’s celebrate this moment for now.”

The Super Eagles qualified for the World Cup with a 4-1 aggregate over Ethiopia and will now play Italy in a friendly in London on November 18.
