Senator Oluremi Tinubu Wins APC Senatorial Ticket
Senator Oluremi Tinubu won her senatorial re-election bid on Monday after securing the All Progressives Congress ticket for the Lagos Central Senatorial District at the party’s primary election.
Tinubu, who currently represents the district at the senate, had 2,354 votes out of a total of 2,428 cast during the election, while her opponent, Odutola Adetokunbo, had 25 votes. 49 votes were declared void.
After her victory, Tinubu commended the delegates and the people of the constituency for the confidence they had in her and assured them of quality representation at the senate.
