Sandra Bullock is Hollywood’s Highest Paid Actress in 2014

Sandra Bullock has been named the Highest Paid Actress in Hollywood after earning $51 million in the past year.
The 50-year-old “Gravity” actress managed to upstage Jennifer Lawrence, Scarlett Johansson and Forbes’ highest paid actress for 2013, Angelina Jolie, to sit at the top of Forbes’ list of highest paid actresses in 2014.
Bullock got most of her pay through “Gravity,” which raked in $716 million globally. Lawrence landed in second place on Forbes’ list, with $34 million from her latest “Hunger Games” and “X-Men” franchise installments. Jennifer Aniston came in third, with $31 million.
About how it came up with its figures for the June 2013 to June 2014 time period, Forbes explained: “To come up with our earnings estimates we talked to agents, producers, lawyers and other in-the-know folks to figure out how much each celebrity earned from entertainment-related work during our 12 month time period. We didn’t deduct for taxes, agent fees or the other costs of being a celebrity.”
Robert Downey Jr. was recently crowned 2014’s highest paid actor by the financial publication, with $75 million in earnings.
