S-West NULGE reject confab’s wish to scrap LGs
Leaders of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, in the South West zone has kicked against the recommendation by the committee of the National Conference suggesting the scrapping of 774 local governments in the country.
Speaking through their National Vice-President, West, Mr. Oludare Famoofo in Ibadan, they alleged that the committee comprised presidency apologists and stooges of the state governors.
With the Vice Chairman of NULGE were the National Treasurer, Oluyemi Esan, National Trustee, Akeem Ambali Titilola Sodo (Oyo), Adekomi Jacob (Osun), Ajimoko Olubunmi (Ekiti), and Mr. Ayuba Olatunji (Osun).
