Runtown plans to lead protest against SARS in Lagos
Nigerian Singer Douglas Jack Agu, popularly known as Runtown, took to his twitter and Instagram accounts on Sunday to let fans and Nigerians know that he would be leading a protest against notorious anti robbery squad SARS and their incessant abuse of power and police brutality.
This announcement came after Nigerian celebrities such as Wizkid, Wurld, Davido and others criticized the Government and the Nigerian police force on Social media urging them to disband the squad.
The singer is still the only one of any of the celebrities that spoke up to say anything about a protest.
The protest would be happening on Thursday the 8th of October, and would be kicking off at Lekki phase 1 toll gate in Lagos.
