Rivers State APC Gubernatorial Candidate Enjoins Campaign Committees to Work hard for Party’ Victory
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers, Dr Dakuku Peterside, has encouraged the party’s campaign committees to work hard towards the party’s success in the general elections.
Peterside said this in Port Harcourt on Monday at the inauguration ceremony of 13 campaign committees, asking the members to engage their skills, talents and passion to ensure that victory at the February elections.
He said: “We have selected a pool of competent experienced men and women to drive our election process. We have also carefully considered your different skills, talents, passion and commitment to the APC agenda of driving away poverty in Nigeria.
“Your selection is a well-considered decision and it means that the party has so much confidence in your person and in your dedication to our shared vision.
“Every Rivers man and woman has something special to contribute to the accelerated progress of Rivers State.
“This committee will have the responsibility of reaching out to the high and mighty, great and small, because we believe that they have something to offer in our quest to a greater Rivers State,” he said.
The candidate urged the Mobilisation Committee to move to all parts of the state to bring out our people to be part of our system.
“We will not only include non-indigenes in our system but they will be part of our government.
“Those who dwell, do business here and pay taxes here, are part of Rivers State and are entitled to everything a Rivers man is entitled to.”
