Sharing is caring!

Aaron RamseyArsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey is looking forward to his return to Wembley for Sunday’s Community Shield against Manchester City, but has urged his team-mates to keep aiming higher.

The Welsh player ended Arsenal’s nine-year trophy drought at the national stadium in May by giving his side a 3-2 win over Hull City in extra time.
Ramsey now says he wants the club to work towards further success.

“The feeling we had was the best feeling I’ve had on a football pitch after a game,” he said during a press conference at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.

“We definitely want that feeling again, and as quickly as possible. We want to win things this year and we have a great possibility to do that.

“We’ve got over the hurdle of having not won anything for many years. We put that to bed by winning the FA Cup and now we want to build on that.

“There’s a shield to be won and we all want to win that, so we’re going to approach it like it’s the first game of the Premiership. It’s a big game for us and we’ll try to approach it like that”.
