Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has declared most of his players fit – with the exception of Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Laurent Koscielny – ahead of Sunday’s trip to Merseyside.

Midfielder, Aaron Ramsey who has not played since Boxing Day because of a thigh problem, is in line to return from injury for the Gunners at Everton.

Defender Nacho Monreal could also be back as Arsenal and Everton go head-to-head in their bargain for a Champions League place.

“Aaron and Nacho Monreal are back training with the squad, so that is good news. Hopefully they will be available for Sunday,” Wenger told the club’s website.

Defender Koscielny and midfielder Ozil are still sidelined but midfielder Abou Diaby is back in training after a year out with a knee injury.

“Diaby is back on the pitches, so that is good news,” the French boss added.

While Wenger stressed that Walcott’s season is already a foregone conclusion as the winger out of England’s 2014 World Cup campaign, he says Wilshere and Ozil are not back to match fitness yet.

“They (Wilshere and Walcott) are alright, they are doing well. It is still early for them, of course for Theo, the season is finished and Jack is progressing well. The FA Cup will be too soon for him (Ozil), but he will hopefully be back soon after that.
