RAMADHAN: Funke Adesiyan Begins Distribution Of Palliatives To Muslims
To assist Muslims in Ibadan South East / North East local governments as Ramadan begins, a reknown Nollywood entrepreneur cum politician, Hon. Funke Adesiyan, has started distribution of food items.
Adesiyan, who hails from Kudeti within the South East/North East Federal Constituency is popular for these gestures amongst her people especially during yuletide.
The Special Assistant to wife of the President, Dr. Aisha Buhari, on domestic matters, said this gesture is borne out of her desire to ease the burden of the people especially during this Covid 19 pandemic.
“Government at all levels are doing their bits. We have got to also do whatever we can do within our means. We need to show love to the people. This outreach I’m embarking on is my own bit. Let each one of us help another. By doing so, the society would be better; we have to show love to our neighbours because we are all we’ve got,” the All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain added.
