President Moves to Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly moved into the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja, three weeks after he was sworn-in.

President Buhari was on Sunday afternoon reported to have visited the Presidential Villa, apparently to spend a few minutes with his wife.

A Presidency source said: “The President was here this afternoon (Sunday). He arrived at about 2pm and spent about 30 minutes before he left. He later returned in the evening. At last, the President has moved in”.

President’s Media Aide, Mallam Garba Shehu, before now has said the renovation which was being carried out since the former President, Goodluck Jonathan, moved out, have been the reason for the delay in the President moving into his official residence.

‎At the moment, there is no detail of Osinbajo’s movement into the Presidential Villa.

President Buhari, since his inauguration have been making use of Defence House as his office and sleep in his personal residenc‎e.
