President Jonathan Presents Handover Notes to Buhari
President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday formally presented his handover notes to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, before taking the President-elect on a tour around the grounds of the Aso Villa.
The presentation and handover took place inside the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa and the Vice President, Namadi Sambo, in a similar vein, conducted the Vice President-elect, Yemi Osinbajo, round his wing of the villa.
The President, during the presentation, said his administration had done its best in the interest of the country.
The President-elect said he would study the handover notes before making any remarks but commended President Jonathan for conceding defeat in the March 28 Presidential election and allowing peace to reign in the country.
