President Goodluck Jonathan to Formally Declare Re-Election Bid on November 11

President Goodluck Jonathan is set to formally declare his intention to contest during the 2015 general elections on November 11.

This was disclosed by the Members of  the Presidential Declaration Committee led by Dr. Haliru Bello, at their inaugural meeting held inside the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday.

President Jonathan had reportedly set up the declaration committee after informing the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party of his decision to contest the election on Thursday.

The committee has now chosen November 11 as the date the President will formally declare his intention.
