President Buhari to meet Chadian and Nigerien Presidents on Wednesday
President Muhammadu Buhari is set to take his first official trip out of the country on Wednesday when he visits the Presidents of Chad and Niger Republic to discuss security matters.
The visit is meant to be another step in the President’s fight against insurgency after he ordered the central command of the military to move base from Abuja to Maiduguri during his inauguration on May 29.
President Buhari will likely discuss during the meeting, plans to curb the dreaded sect.
During his inauguration, he had acknowledged the support of their governments and thanked them for their cooperation with Nigeria in the fight against the Boko Haram sect.
