1. FOILED ROBBERY/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (‪DELTA‬STATE): On 08.09.2014
at about 10:15AM, Police Patrol team along Asaba/Benin Expressway
intercepted a two-man robbery gang that laid siegeon the highway. One
locally-made Revolver Pistol with one ammunition was recovered from
the hoodlums. Both suspects taken into custody, StateCID‪#‎Asaba‬ is
investigating.

2. FOILED ROBBERY/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (‪LAGOS‬STATE): On 08.09.2014
at about 10:30AM, upon information Police patrol team attached to
Aguda Division intercepted a group of men at AngelPrivate School along
Nnobi Street Aguda and upon a search one locally-made Pistol was
recovered from one of the suspects while others fled the scene.
Suspects laid siege at the area waiting to rob a particular female
victim, one arrested suspect taken into custody. Efforts to apprehend
other gang members are being intensified. State CID Panti is
investigating.

3. FOILED ROBBERY/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (‪KADUNA‬STATE): On 09.09.2014
at about 8:45PM, Police received a distress call of armed robbery at a
residential building along Surajo Road T/Wada Kaduna. Police Patrol
teams were immediately dispatched to the scene; the hoodlums upon
sighting the Police fled the scene abandoning their loots. One
locally-made Pistol abandoned by the hoodlums as well as jewelries,
mobile phones and cash sum of money earlier collected from the victims
were recovered. No injury reported by the victims, efforts to
apprehend the fleeing suspects are being intensified. State CID Kaduna
is investigating.

4. FOILED ROBBERY/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (DELTA STATE): On 10.09.2014 at
about 1:00PM, Police Patrol team at Okumagba Avenue area Warri heard
sound of gunshots from the area and immediately responded to the scene
were the hoodlums upon sighting the Police fled and ran
intoOkere-Urhobo Community. The fleeing suspects who are believed to
have received gunshot injuries from the Police Patrol team abandoned
one Assaultrifle with three (3) magazines and thirteen (13) rounds of
5.56mm live ammunition. The hoodlums had trailed a male victim who
just withdrew some some money from the bank to the scene. Efforts are
being intensified to apprehend the fleeing suspects. State ClD Asaba
is investigating.

5. FOILED ROBBERY/ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS (‪EDO‬STATE): On
14.09.2014 at about 12:15AM, Police Patrol team along Benin/Auchi road
by Aduwawa, intercepted an Audi 80 car with reg. no. DELTA AGB 673 AE
with seven (7) male occupants and upon a search (2) cut-to-size guns,
three (3) live cartridges and one (1) battle axe were recovered from
the men. Suspectsfound to be on robbery expedition on the said road.
State CID‪#‎Benin‬is investigating.

6. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (EDO STATE): On
11.09.2014 at about 2:30AM, Police operatives raided a criminal
hideout at Akenfa I, one male suspect aged 22yrs a native of Ofoni in
Sagbama LGA but resides at Tombia Roundabout area was arrested and one
locally-made Pistol with one cartridge was recovered from him. Other
gang members fled the scene, arrested suspect and his cohorts had been
terrorizing inhabitants of the area. Efforts are being intensified to
arrest fleeing suspects. State CID Benin is investigating.

7. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERS/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (EDO STATE): On
11.09.2014 at about 05:30AM, Police received A DISTRESS CALL of armed
robbery attack on commuters along Sabongida Ora/Iruekpen Road. Police
patrol teams were immediately dispatched to the scene where the
hoodlums were met in the act. There was a shootout during which two of
the suspects (male) were fatally injured while other gang members fled
into the nearby forest with gunshot wounds. One cut-to-size
locally-made single barrel gun was recovered from the deceased
suspects. All victims were safely rescued; cash sum of money, mobile
phones and other items earlier snatched from the victims were all
recovered from the scene. Corpsesof deceased suspects were removed and
deposited at the mortuary while efforts to apprehend other gang
members are been intensified. State CID Benin is investigating.

8. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT/RECOVERY OF SNATCHED VEHICLE
(FCT‪/ABUJA‬):On 11.09.2014 at about 9:00PM, Police received a
distress call of snatched Toyota car (reg. no. withheld) from the male
owner at Kubwa area. Police Patrol teams were immediately informed,
thevehicle was later intercepted with a male suspect and one
locally-made Revolver Pistol with five (5) rounds of live ammunition
recovered from him. FCT CID is investigating.

9. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS/RECOVERY OF WEAPON
(‪‎ANAMBRA‬STATE): On 13.09.2014 at about 8:00AM, Police operatives
attached to Otuocha Division arrested three male suspects involved in
the Robbery Operation at a Petrol Station in the area on 11.09.2014 at
about 10:00PM. One cut to-size locally-made Pistol and a toy gun were
recovered from the suspects. State CID‪#‎Awka‬is investigating.

10. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS/RECOVERY OF WEAPON
(‪RIVERS‬STATE): On 13.09.2014 at about 1:55PM, based on
intelligencereport Police operatives raided a suspected criminal
hideout at Choba area. There was a shootout, suspects later took to
flight and were chased towards Ada George by NTA Road where three (3)
of the hoodlums were arrested having sustained gunshot injuries. One
Honda Civic saloon car, two (2) AK 47 rifles with their magazines and
seventy-nine (79) rounds of live ammunition were recovered from the
suspects at the scene. Arrested suspects were rushed to the hospital
for treatment but were pronounced dead on arrival. Corpses deposited
at the mortuary, efforts are being intensified to apprehend other gang
members. State CID Port-Harcourt is investigating.

11. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (RIVERS
STATE): On 14.09.20`4 at about 12:15AM, Police Patrol team intercepted
a group of persons struggling at Elemejunction. It was discovered that
a motorcyclist inflicted with injury on the head was being robbed by
hoodlums. Nine male suspects arrested and onerevolver Pistol with six
(6) rounds of live ammunition was recovered. State CID Port-Harcourt
is investigating.

12. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (DELTA STATE):
On 14.09.2014 at about 7:45PM, Police received a distress call of
armed robbery from a Compound inOvrode community. Police patrol teams
were immediately dispatched to the scene where the suspects were met
in the act; there was a shootout during which one of the hoodlums was
fatally injured while others fled with gunshot wounds. One
locally-made cut-to-size Pistol and aniron cutter were recovered from
the deceased suspect as well as some household items earlier robbed
from the victims. No injury reported by thevictims, efforts to
apprehend other suspects are being intensified. State CID Asaba is
investigating.

13. RECOVERY OF WEAPON/ARREST OF SUSPECT (LAGOS STATE): On 11.09.2014
at about 7:00AM, Policemen on Stop and Search at Ngab/Berger NewGarage
pin-down point along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway intercepted one Toyota
Camry car with reg. no. FST 369 CF driven by a male driver. Upon a
search one locally-made Revolver Pistol wasrecovered from the driver.
Suspect taken into custody, State CID Panti is investigating.
