POLICE PRESS RELEASE, WAR AGAINST CULTISM IN OGUN STATE

On 12/09/2015 police detectives attached to Ago – Iwoye Division Arrested some suspected cultists. The cult members were arrested at different locations within Ago-Iwoye x one Tobi Richard ‘m’ of Dept of political science, Olabisi Onabamjo university Ago Iwoye, 200level, aged 23 yrs, member of Alora Buccernia confraternity, Babatunde jubril Abiodun ‘m’, aged 25 yrs, Dept of Geography Education, 400 Level, OOU, of Alora Buccernia confraternity and lfeanyi Ubamwa ‘m’ x of Lagos State Polytechnic, LASPOTECH HND 1, Dept of Banking &finance, aged 23 yrs, a member of Eye confraternity.

The suspects have confessed to be members of the cult groups as indicated against their names.

The Commissioner of Police Ogun State CP Abdulmajid Ali has directed d dept of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Eleweran abk to take over d case for proper investigations and that d suspects be charged to court immediately after investigations.

The cp also vowed to continue to hunt for any individuals or group of people who may want to cause troubles in Ogun state as all hands are on deck for adequate protection of lives and property.
