RESTRICTION ORDER ON BAR/CLUBS/
JOINTS/MOTORCYCLES (OKADA RIDERS)
Further to the Command’s quest to sanitize Ogun State and get it rid of hoodlums, the Command has placed a restriction order on operations or activities of bars, joints, clubs and commercial motorcycles.
2. This order came at the heels of increase in activities of criminals or hoodlums who engage themselves in nefarious activities in the State which could as well be tailored to late operations of these centres. (bar & clubs)
3. The Commissioner of Police Ogun State, CP Abdulmajid Ali, made the order on Tuesday while addressing the press and parading some arrested cultists, that henceforth, every bar and joint must close by 10pm, while night clubs be shut by 12am (midnight).
4. Also, motorcycle operators, for commercial purposes, must stop their operations by 8.30pm, all over the State. This order on motorcycles has been in place in the State and will be strictly enforced.
5. The Command therefore warns that anyone caught violating this order will be arrested and charged to court accordingly.
6. The Commissioner of Police therefore appeals to the general public for its understanding and co-operation in this regard with a view to having a safer State.
